Amazing Transformation with a New Driveway in Heald Green, Stockport!

Planet Surfacing recently completed a new driveway in Heald Green, Stockport. Our clients opted for a pattern imprinted concrete driveway in La Habra Ashlar coloured in classic grey. This was across the front of the house. An ACO drain was included in order to make the driveway SUDS compliant. The driveway was then covered in a mid-sheen seal with anti-skid.

To soften the appearance and create more interest our clients wanted to include a raised planter area with shrubs and greenery as well as a perimeter wall and new fencing. We built the perimeter wall and pillars in a russet brick with Staffordshire blue header course to match the driveway. We also sourced pier caps to match.

We added a vertical board fence which we painted a similar colour to the driveway so the two perfectly complemented one another and also tied in with the grey on the walls. We also included KL charcoal kerbs which created the area for shrubs and other plants. KL kerbs are a great product as they allow you to put in curves rather than having to stick to straight lines, so create added appeal. In addition, the customer incorporated lights into the pillar which makes it look great at night!
