Traditional New Concrete Driveway in Stretford

With 6 weeks to go before Christmas, it’s this time of the year that many families make a mad dash attempt to get their homes looking their best for visitors and guests whether that’s friends or family staying over the festive period.

A great way to improve the appearance of the outside of your home, create curb appeal and add value to your property is to have a pattern imprinted concrete driveway. Creating more parking spaces can also be an added bonus especially if you are expecting a few visitors to your house at Christmas!

Planet Surfacing recently installed a new concrete driveway in Stretford across the front of the house, along with a path at the side of the house. Our clients opted to have the new concrete driveway in Stretford and path printed in London Cobble. It was coloured in charcoal to create a classic and traditional appearance.

We were able to lay the concrete around the front of the house and cut around the hedge at the front too. While it’s a simple design it looks great. It was finished with a mid-sheen and anti-slip agent. You can see the fantastic results from the photographs included.

We also installed an ACO drainage system at the top of the driveway where it met the footpath. This was to ensure that all surface water has somewhere to flow to rather than rest on top of the concrete and is essential to assist with the drainage of rainwater.
