New driveway and paths in Leigh, Wigan

Planet Surfacing recently completed another stunning concrete driveway. The new driveway in Leigh, Wigan, dramatically improved the exterior appearance of the house. Our clients opted to have the driveway and matching pathway running to the side and around the back of the house in pattern imprinted concrete.

This type of concrete driveway can be a great improvement to any property and a good investment. That’s because it is aesthetically pleasing to look at, therefore adding curb appeal, which in turn adds value to a house, but from a practical point of view it is low maintenance. There are also a range of colours and patterns to choose from meaning you can opt for a combination that’s bespoke to you.

In this instance our clients decided to have their new driveway in Leigh, Wigan printed in Ashlar cut stone for the pattern, coloured in russet with mahogany release. It really suited the property. You can see the end results from the photographs included.

A pattern imprinted concrete driveway can be shaped around existing features, for example the driveway was cut around the lawn to incorporate it as well as the grass to the side of the house and garden at the back.

We also added a half moon step in the same pattern imprinted concrete. It was all sealed in mid sheen with anti-slip. This gives a beautiful shine to the concrete but for safety it doesn’t make it slippery.
