New Driveway Gatley, Stockport

Planet Surfacing recently completed a new driveway installation in the Gatley area of Stockport. The project included a new driveway in Stockport leading to the garage at the side of the property and a pathway that provided access to the back garden at the other side of the house. We incorporated the new driveway in Stockport into the existing garden scheme with its borders and shrubs, so that the driveway and path perfectly complemented the landscaping.

Our clients opted for a grand ashlar pattern that was coloured in dark red with a mahogany release. The release agent does two jobs. First it enhances the coloured concrete and second it makes it easier to lift the printing mats from the surface of newly pressed concrete without spoiling the pattern. You can see the overall look that was created from the pictures included and how it has enhanced the appearance of the property. The colour our clients chose suits the colour of the bricks and style of the house, although with so many colour and pattern combinations to choose from, 7,500 to be exact, you are guaranteed to find something that suits your style and taste.

The final part of the installation process was to apply a mid-sheen seal with anti-skid component included.

At Planet Surfacing, we can also incorporate special features into a project such as steps, borders, fences and walls. In this instance our clients wanted a brick wall across the front of the property. We were able to accommodate their needs by building a wall and using red engineering brick on the top to tie it all in with the colour of the driveway.
