Give a Nod to Italy with a New Driveway in Sale Using Sorrento Block Paving!

Planet Surfacing recently completed the installation of both a new driveway in Sale and a new patio. If you are thinking of upgrading your outside space, then getting all the work done in one go can cut down on the disruption and inconvenience that inevitably comes with renovating both the front and back outside spaces of your home.

We brought a little bit of Italy to Sale as our customers decided to have a Sorrento driveway with granite grey tumbled concrete block paving, which as you can see from some of the photographs, created a beautiful cobble effect. We incorporated a double charcoal border to define the shape and edge of the new driveway in Sale. We laid the bricks horizontally for the inner border and the outer border were laid vertically. Again, you can see what this looked like from the photographs included. Using this paving set gave us the versatility to arrange the blocks in the pattern that our customers wanted for their new driveway.

The customers also supplied a fence which we erected along either side of the new driveway in Sale as well as three security posts that were incorporated across the front. While we can source all of the materials that will be needed for a project, if there are elements that you prefer to get for us to then install, we are happy to accommodate this.

Around the back of the house, we laid porcelain flags for the new patio in Sale, all primed and laid on an SBR mix that ensured the flags were firmly in place. We added a raised section at the back where the customer is planning to add a pergola. As you can see this nicely finished it off. In addition to the new patio in Sale, we also laid 40mm tri colour premium artificial lawn and fitted a gate on the side. Our customers are still deciding whether they want it sealed which we are happy to go back and do if they want it.
