New pattern imprinted patio in Wythenshawe

A patio can transform your garden and complement your home. It can be any shape you like such as circle, rectangle, square or free flowing, although this can be dependent on the existing shape and size of your garden and what you want the area to accommodate such as furniture, barbecue set or plants.

The options for how you use a patio space can also be endless.  Take for example a recent project completed by Planet Surfacing in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester.  Our customer had recently built a “man cave” at the back of his home and needed a path that would lead to this room as well as a patio area running along the front of it.

We initially created a path out of large London cobble and fitted lights in the edging mat which we then acid edged.  We then added the patio area which we printed in Ashlar and added a compass which you can see from the photograph included.  This created an attractive feature on the patio using our new colour system.  Both the path and patio were coloured in platinum.
